Thanks for stopping by today. As you can see I am still on my Mandela kick. I just can't stop. And the more I want to stop, the more new patterns I see appearing and with that it is over for me. I am just plain hooked. Please come and help me get over this madness.
Here now is one I have designed myself. I hope you like it.
But first I thought I would share a little description of what the different colors stand for in a Mandela. Very interesting, don't you think?

The one thing that is crazy about a Mandela is allllll those strings.
You do have to do a lot of sewing in.
If you should be interested in the pattern please let me know and I will post it.
I should have written it down as I went along,
but sadly I didn't.
So now I am going back and doing just that, so I have it
as a future reference.
Wishing you all a lovely day!
Till next time.....

ReplyDeleteHi Erika :-) I just found you through Julie's Lifestyle blog and am your newest follower. Such a pretty mandala! I love the colors; thanks for sharing what each one means. I would love the pattern. I've never made a mandala because I don't know what to do with one, but I've been seeing so many pretty ones online I may have to take the plunge.
ReplyDeleteGreat post on your 52 week challenge; I'm doing that, too. Isn't it fun?
Have a great day :-)
