Good Morning Friends on this last day of August. Now we are heading towards the fall and hopefully cooler temperatures. Personally I am very much looking forward to it, as this has been the hardest summer for me that I can remember. The dogs will be happy too I think.
Today I would also like to introduce you to 3 blogs and I hope you will go visit them and enjoy the beautiful things they are making.
Isolde - Everyday Life
Akelein - Akelein
Jules - Little Woollie
Now on to our Tuesday Question:
As I am personally a woman a bit on the heavier side, I would also like to make some clothing items for myself. Sadly there are very few good patterns on the Internet for bigger women. Do any of you know of a good site to find some? Also I am curious to know if you might have some advise on how to adjust a regular pattern to a bigger size. I have tried, but it seems my projects always end up smaller than thought or the pattern does not work out. Any tips in this category would be appreciated.
You all have a lovely day now!

Thanks for visiting my blog. I haven;t looked for larger sized knitting patterns but I have found quite a few crochet books and booklets that go up to larger sizes.
ReplyDeleteDoris Chan's Everyday crochet book patterns go up to a generous 54" bust. The Style for You from Leisure Arts is up to a 3X in size. Annie's Attic Casual to Classic 877524 has patterns in there up to 4 and 5 X
